Prezi about Dreams

i found this on Prezi.
Dreams!

Prezi for Surrealism.

Surrealism

I found this on Prezi.

TASK!

BRIEF; - produce a short film - 30 seconds to 2 minutes long

THEME; Dreams

TECHNIQUE? - that is up to you - this blog has shown you lots of examples - and will continue to do so - you need to have evidence of

  1. trying out different images and techniques
  2. drafting ideas
  3. animatics
  4. flic books
  5. using the way sound can influence the audience
  6. storyboarding
  7. researching dreams
  8. organising
  9. planning
  10. producing

HOW DO I DO THAT???

Firstly:

talk through different routes with me/friends and then choose the method for keeping evidence

1. book/journal or sketchbook

2. blog - a bit like this one

Then create/title it and follow the steps below - there will be a post & a worksheet to support each one

  1. research and generate ideas for the theme (remember: it is DREAMS)
  2. research three different cinematography/moving image techniques (there are several on here but you only need three, once you have chosen three carry out your own research - you could add to the examples here - don't just nick my research)
  3. use a storyboard to experiment with different ideas (you can draw, collage, cut and paste, use photos - any way you prefer - keep all the pages and trials as evidence for marks)
  4. find out about sound- how to do it and what impact it can have on your own construction
    1. diagetic sound (in real life)
    2. Foleying
    3. amplifying mood
    4. creating suspence
    5. ways of making it
  5. collect a wide range of photos of possibilities for
    1. models
    2. locations
    3. props
    4. angles/frame/depth of field
    5. lighting effects
  6. find out the difference between using Mc/apple techniques like i-stopmotion or i-movie and pc versions such as movie-maker or vegas. there is no rule to which one you use BUT I must be able to prove you did it - validity is important as this is controlled coursework.
  7. plan the script/storyboard.timings and choose actore - even though we may not hear their voices actors need to feel they have direction and help to get in the mood
  8. capture the images
  9. drop them onto a time-line and create the final piece.

throughout the project - use the blog/journal to record your thoughts, ideas and frustrations - think of it as a diary (except this one will earn you lots of marks)

'NO DIVING!'

I like this photo because its cool. A girl Swinging up in the air???? SURREAL! This photo then reminds me off one of my dreams too. I had a dream about this girl who is a family friend of mine, she was kidnapped and brought up in the building. The bad guys where down the building and i was sneaking to get inside to save her. But one of them saw me. The girl who was kidnapped was about to jump of the building because she was scared and she doesnt know what to do. The bad guys was pointing a gun straight to her.
But this photo is pretty similar to that dream i had before.

:)

My good old Dream...

When I was little, i had the weirdest dream ever. I've had the dream on repeat quite often. So it was, I was outside in the street playing with some 'friends'. The place is in the Philippines because I was in the Philippines when i had the dream. So i was out having fun, it was a hot sunny day. When I realize it was getting dark i decide to get home, so i was walking through this street with full of trees everywhere. There was no cars coming or anyone passing by. I was calm and humming a song but all of the sudden i took one step and TADA! Im in the big City, which looks like in America. The place is noisy, busy and crowded. But here come's the fun bit, theres a big shake on the ground and without me realizing, I turned around and i saw a Dinosaur behind me. I run the fast as i could and it was weird because i was only little means i was running very slow and the dinosaur should run really fast than me but it was the other round, the dinosaur is far behind me. I hid under this small table because i was scared its going to eat me. But i sneezed and the dinosaur heard me but then i woke up, the dream wasnt quite finish yet but 'PHEWW!'

I could use this Dream idea of a Dinosaur running after someone but to make it different, i could take a picture of my sister running after the dinosaur :) thats more interesting and a little Surrealism.

Surrealism

Surrealism is a type of art when artists create dreamlike paintings especially nightmares filled with mysterious objects that have been oddly changed in ways you couldn't see in reality. Salvador Dali is a famous Surrealist, who also created films about his life, and various other painting.

This photo is by the amazing art photography, Brooke Shaden. This photo is clearly a surrealism why? because no one can ever turn their head to the back just like that. I like how neat the editing is and how simple it is but very interesting. I like the hands and the hair.

Dreams

This is one of the photo from Google that came up when I typed in the word 'Dreams'.
I like it because of the Dark tone of colour, and it has the theme of Black and White. The butterfly adds more details on the picture because it has a different colour which make it stands out.
